Singing Teacher

Phillip is in his early thirties and has been singing since the age of 10 in local choirs and societies both as a soloist and as a member of the chorus. Phillip Graduated from Bath Spa University with a BA Honours degree in Music specialising in performance. He then continued to train as an operatic Tenor with Rosa Mannion before going on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in performance studies at The Royal College of Music under the Tuition of Roderick Earle.

Phillip's stage experience includes leading roles in Le Nozze di Figaro, Cosi fan Tutte, Die Zauberflote Eugene Onegin, Macbeth, Les Contes d'Hoffman and Les Miserables. On the Concert platform Phillip has had vast experience singing in many well known works such as The Messiah, The Creation, Maria Theresa Mass, Misa Criolla, Navidad Nuestra and The Christmas Oratorio to mention a few.

Phillip has taken on roles for Bath Opera, Bristol Opera, White Horse Opera and Kennett Opera.  He won the Rondo Music and Concert club 'Sponsor a singer' award in Bath. Phillip was invited to join Opera Piccola on their tour of North Germany. Phillip was also a founding member of Opera Sulis, a professional vocal ensemble based in Bath where he performed along with singers from English National Opera, Scottish Opera, Opera North and the D'oyly Carte.

In 2010 Phillip was proud to represent his home community of Gibraltar performing for the Gibraltar Day celebrations in London. Phillip has also organised and appeared in numerous charitable performances where he combines full-time employment with a busy schedule of coaching and musical direction and is the Musical Director of his own choir 'Harmonics' and is a founder member of the vocal ensembles 'InCantus' and 'Mount Opera'.
