Great news for all our students! The Ministry of Culture together with Gibraltar Cultural Services and The Gibraltar Philharmonic Society are organising the New Year’s Concert for Kids with the European Sinfonietta. This is a great event for all our students to attend. It is a chance to see an orchestra up close and enjoy music from two of the greatest composers of all time, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Strauss. This is an interactive performance especially for children and proved to be a great success last year. This year the Gibraltar Academy of Music and Performing Arts will be having some of our students helping out in the concert and we hope all our students can make it and enjoy this wonderful experience. It is also an opportunity to see what you can achieve with hard work and determination and we are sure this concert will inspire you to work hard in order to form part of an orchestra yourselves one day. This concert takes place on Monday 4th january at the John Mackintosh Hall at 17:30. Tickets at £7 for Children and £10 for adults are available from the John Mackintosh Hall with a special family Ticket for £30 including 2 adults and 2 Children or 1 Adult and 3 Children. Make sure to get your tickets soon to avoid disappointment.
